Accessibility Statement

We design and test this Site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This covers things like color contrast, keyboard operability, meaningful labels for form fields and images, and compatibility with screen readers.

• We test the Site with automated accessibility scanning (axe) targeting zero serious or critical violations, at both desktop and mobile viewport sizes. A representative set of page templates - the home page, every Lab tool, every legal page, and several other key pages - is scanned automatically every time we build and test a change. We also periodically crawl every public page of the live Site the same way; most recently this found zero serious or critical violations across all 55 pages.
• We design color and contrast choices against a documented design system rather than ad hoc values.
• Interactive components (menus, forms, the Lab tools) are built to be operable by keyboard alone, with visible focus states.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. Despite our testing, some content, especially in a continuously-animated illustration on the home page's hero section, may not meet every guideline at every moment, and we may not have caught every issue. We welcome reports of anything that doesn't work for you.
